MEMORIAL DAY BLOG 2020:
Hello Everyone:
Before I get into
anything else; let me say Happy Memorial Day to all of you, as we
pause to remember all those who have paid the ultimate price for our
freedom. Also; a BIG SHOUT OUT to those who have served our country
in the past and to those who are presently serving in the Military.
Thank you for your Service.
A Memorial Day
Weekend like no other we have ever seen.
Normally; you might
post a blog or a message stating Happy Memorial Day to your family
and friends.
This Memorial Day is
anything but normal.
- No public events
- No Parades
- Churches are still closed,(that may change this weekend)
- Most beaches are closed
- Mandatory wearing of masks in public
- Most restaurants closed except for take out
- Social Distancing of at least 6 feet apart
- Most non-essential business are still closed
- And the list goes on...
I’m glad to see
things starting to re-open again, but I also feel that people will
not do what they are being asked to do. If they don’t want to
comply, we may see a resurgence of the virus once again.
In the meantime; try
to have a great Memorial Day with family and friends while keeping
the 6 foot rule.
