Every month; the Pastors of about seven church's in the Merrimack Valley gather for either a breakfast or prayer meeting. This month, it's a prayer meeting. We gather to pray for one another as well as our churches that God would move upon us in a mighty way.
We also talk about what plans we want to put together for any special events coming up, like the Intercity Outreach this Saturday, August 6, 2011 from Noon until 6:00 PM, in on the North Common in Lowell, Ma.
One thing that I like about when all the pastors get together, is that we don't talk about OUR Church; we talk about THE CHURCH; we are in this together to reach the lost for Christ. There are times when we know that we have spoken to folks about finding them a church that might speak their language, like Spanish or Portuguese, or Cambodian. Well we have pastors who attend our gathering who have churches speak those languages, and we have no problem sending folks to a particular church to meet their needs. We are not out to build our church, we are here to build The Church and the Kingdom of God.
