2019, A New Year:

Hello Everyone:
I trust that all of you had a Very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.

Well; today is January 1, 2019. It is a brand new year for all of us. My question is what do you think about as we begin a brand new year.

If you are anything like me, you probably start to think about the vacations that you will plan and take in the coming year. You realize that now, we have a brand new set of Holidays that will come around over the months ahead. Some may have more holidays, some will have less, depending on the company you work for.

I'm sure that all of us right now, especially those of us who live in New England are counting down the days until Spring arrives. We look forward to the warmer weather, and the sun setting later as we spring ahead the time on Sunday, March 10, 2019. We already know that we have seen the shortest day of the year which happened in December 2018. There is so much to think about, what will take place in the coming months of 2019.

I have often heard it said; "I am going to turn over a new leaf this year" the problem with that is, that some of us have turned over so many new leafs, that we could build a new forest. But we continue to try to change things in our lives.

The most important thing that I can think about is the fact that the Lord Jesus Christ gives us more opportunities to live for Him, to Serve Him with a greater Love, and to do His will.

God has loved us so much that
John 3:16 KJV

(16)  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

He gave us His Only Son to shed his Blood on an Old Rugged Cross that we may begin a new life in Him. When we come to Jesus and ask Him for forgiveness of our Sins, this is what happens.....

2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV

(17)  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Did you see that????
We can become a brand new creature or creation in the Lord.

If you have never asked Jesus Christ into your heart; let this be the day and year that you call upon Him

Romans 10:13 KJV
(13)  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Call on His Name today, and begin a Brand New Relation with the only one that can set you free from sin.

Blessings; and have a great New Year
