OVERTIME:

Hello Everyone:

Working Overtime is something that we are all familiar with. Receiving Comp Time for working overtime when being paid a salary, or receiving time and a half as an hourly worker. We have all been there at one time or another. There are times when it is mandatory for some of us, and not so for others. 

With all that is going on in the world around us today; I was reminded today of overtime that is being worked against all of us. 

I am speaking about the Overtime that Satan is working to destroy our lives; destroy our relationship with Jesus Christ; Attack us at our weakest point in our lives. Our weak points can be Spiritual, Physical, Emotional or Financial. He will do everything he can to get into our minds to destroy us. 

He will also temp us in every area of our lives, and this is something that all of us need to be aware of. He knows that his time is short. God's Word tells us to resist the devil and he will flee from us.  
James 4:7 KJV
(7)  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

A few years ago at our church; we had a teaching series entitled, "Don't Take The Bate" 

When we are tempted by Satan, don't submit to his plans to destroy you. Stand on the Word of God instead. 

After all; God's Word says...
Romans 8:37 KJV

(37)  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Saturday Night in Waterville, Maine:

Hello Everyone:

Yesterday; Saturday, November 2, 2019, Lynne and I went to Waterville, Maine to meet there to see her three siblings. We agreed that Waterville was kind of a central place to travel to for this reunion. It's about 158 miles from our house in Dracut, Ma. We met her sister Sheryl and her husband Dave from Chesapeake, Va. Her brother Robert and his wife Mary from Fryeburg, Me. And her other brother Richard and his wife Marsha from Hodgdon, Me. Marsha told us that the last time they all met, was about 18 years ago.

After we all arrived at the Best Western Hotel in Waterville, we spent some time chatting in the lobby, then went to dinner at Joseph's Steak House. What a meal we all had. 

While at Joseph's we noticed a large Moose poking his head through the wall. Of course, we had to ask is the other half of him was on the other side of the wall, but upon inquiring, nothing more was found. 

We all had a wonderful time catching up of all the events taking place in our lives.

After dinner was over, we all went back to the hotel and gathered in the lobby again.There everyone shared all kinds of memories again. They wanted to take a picture of all four siblings, so here it is.

Then they were asked for a profile picture, and you can see that they all have a great time together and sense of humor.....

The plan is that they want to get together again next year, and I can only imagine what they will do then.
