An Odd Occurrence: 

This past Saturday, September 14th, ended the second week of the month in which we do our Monthly Nursing Home Services. 

There are two Bible Studies conducted on Wednesday morning; one at the Assisted Living side; the other at the Nursing Home side. Then on the Thursday, a Monthly Service is conducted at an Assisted Living Community; Friday morning brings us to our weekly nursing home visits, then we end up the week on Saturday, by conducting a Monthly Service in the morning at a Nursing Home and one in the afternoon at an Assisted Living Community.

So what is the Odd Occurrence? Well, except for one of the nursing homes which had 15-18 in attendance, all the others had about one third of the normal attendees, which was about 6-8 or so. I cannot explain the light attendance, but it is the first time that this has happened, and I found that very odd. 

Hopefully, next month everything will be back to normal. But, even with the light crowds, the songs were sung, the Word was spoken and four elderly folks gave their heart to Jesus. Thank you Lord.
